Introduction
PC-1 of Accelerated Skills Development Program (ASDP) revised in 2024 by PDWP
The Accelerated Skills Development Program (ASDP) is a flagship initiative by the Industries, Commerce, and Technical Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the Accelerated Implementation Plan (AIP). The project aims to empower the youth of the merged areas (formerly FATA) by providing market-relevant skills and fostering livelihood opportunities. This program focuses on bridging the existing skills gap by delivering demand-driven training aligned with national standards
Revised Objectives
- Train 2780 youth in demand-oriented occupations to meet market demands
- Increased household income by creating livelihood opportunities through employable skills development
- Provide internship facilities to the trained youth for linking them with the labor market for accuracy and competency in their respective trades.
- Encourage the trained youth for establishment of their own businesses.
- Create corporate culture & Reduce poverty in youth of the Merged Areas

Total 2780 youth of merged districts/areas will train in followings trades:
